Breads are made up of flour. In fact, wheat flour is the most important ingredient of breads and pastries in  European, American, Middle Eastern,  North African, and Indian cultures. Some types of bread are wholemeal bread, white bread, and rye bread. However, according to study breads that are white are generally bad and can cause constipation, merely because the flour used has been processed and therefore all of the goodness stripped out, including fiber.

White breads are ‘dead breads’ and consumers are not told the truth about this. The question is, why is the color of white bread is so white when the flour taken from wheat is not? It’s purely because the flour that was used to make white bread is chemically bleached. The fact is flour mills use different chemical bleaches like oxide of nitrogen, chlorine, chloride, nitrosyl and benzoyl peroxide mixed with various chemical salts. So when you are eating white bread you are also eating these bad chemicals. Definitely, you lost the valuable nutrients which your body needed. About 50% of all calcium, 70% of phosphorus, 80% iron, 98% magnesium, 75% manganese, 50% potassium, and 65% of copper is destroyed. Not only that, about 80% thiamin, 60% of riboflavin, 75% of niacin, 50% of pantothenic acid, and about 50% of Pyridoxine is also lost. So you can’t find good nutrition in eating white bread but it is a danger to your health. Moreover, white bread causes not only constipation but other degenerative diseases like obesity, diabetes and cancer. Unhealthy foods which have less fiber can cause constipation, and long-term constipation can cause a serious illness such as colon cancer or colorectal cancer. According to American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. For 2015 it is estimated that 93,090 new cases of colon cancer and 39,610 new cases of rectal cancer, and it is expected to cause about 49,700 deaths. Source:

Indeed, avoid eating unhealthy food like white bread because there’s so little fiber left after processing its flour using the bleaching agent. Fiber plays an essential role in our digestive, heart, and skin health, and may improve blood sugar control, prevent hemorrhoids, reduces the risk of gallstones and kidney stones, help us weight loss, and many more. And we need at least 32 grams of fiber a day. Although whole wheat bread is better than white bread because it contains high fiber, still it is best to eat healthy foods like fresh fruits and vegetables for your nutritional diet.
